On April 8th, the IAED published a new survey of individuals who’ve had to call 911. Their aim? To uncover the true impact of 911 professionals from the perspective of the people they serve.
As National Public Safety Telecommunicator Week continues, in partnership with the IAED, we wanted to amplify this survey to say loud and clear: telecommunicators make a life-saving difference.
More than half of respondents believe their 911 call resulted in a life saved

There’s a reason telecommunicators are referred to as the “calm in the chaos.” Their ability to bring poise to a chaotic moment is unique and critical.
